Geological mineral exploration is an important part of geological investigation, and it is a basic and guiding project. In recent years, while vigorously promoting the construction of scientific and technological innovation capacity, China has also put forward higher requirements for geological exploration, which not only needs to increase investment in infrastructure, but also needs to improve management level, technical level and personnel quality. At present, our country pays more and more attention to the exploration of mineral resources, but there are still some problems and deficiencies in the exploration process, which have an adverse impact on the development of mineral resources exploration in our country. Therefore, this book first summarizes the theory and practice of mineral exploration from the perspectives of resource assurance and mineral exploration, the nature and research methods of mineral exploration methods, the division of exploration stages and the basic principles of exploration work. Then, taking Qinghai as an example, the present situation and demand of mineral exploration in China, work deployment and implementation, development and protection regionalization evaluation, project management system and operation mode are discussed, aiming at providing reference for the development of related work.
