This work provides systematic solutions and innovative viewpoints for the key issues facing automation education in higher vocational colleges, such as course system construction, teacher standards, course development, engineering education certification and talent training mode under the background of intelligent manufacturing. First of all, the first chapter of this book deeply discusses the optimization of the curriculum system of automation major in higher vocational colleges. Starting from the basic theory, it clarifies the design concept of the curriculum system, the selection and organization of the curriculum objectives and contents, and provides a solid framework for professional education. Then, the second chapter focuses on the standards and training programs of automation teachers in higher vocational colleges. Through comparative analysis at home and abroad, combined with talent demand research, the teacher standards that meet the actual needs are pre-researched and formulated, and the effective ways of teacher training are explored.
