From the beginning of healing China and discovering the countryside, literature reflects and imagines the past, present and future of the countryside from multiple angles and levels. No matter how writers write about the countryside, it is closely connected with the grand narrative of the modern nation-state. Local literature works participate in the construction of historical memory in a non-historical way. From the gloomy "Wolf Village" to the bright "sunny day", they tell the historical countryside and the history of the countryside with their own existence. The image of modern China gradually becomes clear and prominent from the text of local literature, and the literary countryside has become an important witness of mainstream historical narration.
