This work studies and thinks about the development of music art and song creation in China. This work mainly introduces the essential connotation of contemporary music art and the idea of song creation. First, it analyzes the essence, aesthetic characteristics, spiritual connotation and cultural development of music art from the theoretical overview level, laying a theoretical foundation for the research of the work; Secondly, it expounds the development and change of music art from the aspects of science and technology, grassland culture and Jingge culture, and introduces the expression form and cultural connotation of music art. Finally, from the aspects of ancient poetry, duet duet and military songs, the author discusses the characteristics and inspiration of contemporary song creation, and thinks about the ideas and techniques of modern song creation. This work is of great significance to the study of the development of Chinese music art and the creation of modern songs.
