The present teaching situation of accounting major in colleges and universities urgently needs innovation. In view of the limitations of the traditional teaching mode, we urgently need to find a way to adapt to the requirements of the new era of education development. This research deeply discusses the background of accounting teaching in colleges and universities, and describes in detail the many challenges encountered by professional education in colleges and universities in China. This study focuses on the practical field of professional education in colleges and universities, and uses various research methods such as literature analysis, case study and empirical investigation to propose concrete results-an innovative model that combines diversified teaching methods with traditional accounting teaching. The substantial value of this study is to promote the modernization of accounting education in colleges and universities, and its highlight is to put forward a set of feasible educational model innovation strategies. In addition, the author also provides some instructive suggestions to help the sustainable development of professional education in colleges and universities.
